Here are some pics I took of the babies yesterday. They are about six weeks old and in their own cages and very tame and eating on their own, Unfortunately I have given them away already, but have another two eggs ready to hatch next week. I am hoping this one is a female Not sure on these at the moment.

lol.. right stunners batty.. lol same thing i was thinking! You can tell by the nose coloring, after 6 - 8 of age the nose color is usually accurate. If the cere (nose) color looks brown or crusty tan-ish color its a female. (or some people think its mites, but its not....) If the cere color is blue-ish with a little purple, its a male. (The cere will stay blue-ish purple color until he is about a year old.) They all look like they have the blue-ish color, so this time I'm not 95% sure, now I'm like 80 - 75% sure... I'm not sure because, before male and female budgies are 6 -7 months old they have a white-ish, blue cere coloring... I usually stay up-to-date on information with budgies.

Thanks anthony, lol all three were males. The last two went to their new homes today. The mum is already sitting on a clutch of six eggs and the first egg out of the clutch hatched today. Poor bubbys got kicked out of their cage so mum could lay some more eggs. I think I will help the mum feed these ones to give her a rest.
