Sherby & Button's Flight Expidition

Sherby & Buttons were going crazy for me to let them out today, so like a good mummy I closed all the windows and doors (even though it was very warm) and let them out.... do you think they would fly?? NO!! They sat at the top of the blinds and had a preen - now can anyone tell me... what was the point in that??

Anyway, here they are having their "not so" energetic excersize...











and this is us (actually jon) being a meany and putting them back lol





Sherby then sat like this at the back of the cage for the next 2 hours and refused to look at us what a sulky old budgie #rolleyes#

My little stinkers pull the same trick on a regular basis - lots of shrieking and yelling only to end up on top of a picture frame sleeping

Sherby needs the regular excersize to keep his weight down #rolleyes# but he is an old boy stuck in his ways and refuses to do what i tell him is good for him #rolleyes# and buttons will only go where sherby does, so neither of them will blooming fly around the room! when Frosty shared their cage with them he was very good at keeping them both on their toes and had them flying all around everywhere but since he has gone they just fly from the cage to "something" and sit there - maybe they miss him and this is their way of showing it

I have the same problem with Mr Tickles The only thing that will get him out of the aviary is a nice glass of wine ;D Sadly I haven't had any wine for about a month, so he's just been sitting in there sulking while all the others come out to play
