Yesterday I was sat sunbathing and could hear this soft cluck clucking noise of a male blackbird, then I noticed in the shrubs three baby blackbirds also. No sign of a female though .Dad has been busy all day shepherding and feeding these three little/big ones,I've put him some soft egg food mix and water out to help him along and this morning two bubs and Dad were feeding just outside our kitchen door.
Just a quick update- there seemed to be just the two left eventually but one hung around for ages and came right to our feet to eat! I think they have done the right thing now and become proper wild birds. Apart from the one that was stood watching the painters painting the outside of our house, much to their amusement!
