...... on how I convince my new Tiel that baths are nice? He doesn't go anywhere near the water I put down for him to bathe in and screams the house down is I try to mist him - he'd rather knock himself out flying into the cage sides than have me spray him. I haven't tried since the second attempt as it's just not worth the upset for him. Any tips on how I can get him to take a bath?

My budgies always use to HATE water. I used to just give those that liked it showers, and let the others watch so they could see that water wasn't acid. Now they all get drenched. More seriously though, if your tiel likes greens, try leaving the greens a little wet when you feed them. He may try rolling around in them a bit and it might get him a little more used to the water. If you use a spray bottle, the sound and sudden spray might be scaring him too. Constant drops of water plunking in a dish of water is irresistible to my flock. It might be worth trying.
