She (I think, but hey, I can't even sex a budgie #cheesy# ) is still really scared. She is panting badly, but it is so hot today, I'm hoping that it is just the heat. I have her on the playgym next to the computer, and she has been winking at me. Doesn't close both eyes yet, but we all know that none of my birds trust me #cheesy# As long as I move slowly, she lets me pat her tummy and back.
Wooser is sulking. He has been placed in cage! Whilst it is daylight, and people are HOME! Anyone would think he is just a lowly bird #cheesy# #cheesy# #cheesy#

Did you get her from the breeder in your suburb?

Yep, I did. He was only getting rid of one, and this time I knew it wasn't weaned. But if I didn't take it, he was selling it anyway, so I thought she'd be better off with me

Good on ya mummy Lin! I dislike when they sell unweaned birds. Not fair on them or the new owners!

He actually wanted me to take the youngest baby, which had only about half it's feathers. I told him I had fallen in love with this one, and took her. No way could I take one that young from it's Mum. He is leaving the other two with Mum, and I think I have convinced him that after 3 consecutive clutches, that I know about, it's time for her to have a rest. Have also told him if he does want to sell the others to let me know! I don't want all these tiels ( I soon won't have room to breed myself!), but whilst I can improve a bird's life I will
