Well, I hate to break the news, but, sat nite we decided to buy ourselves a pair of Green Cheeks and unfortunately the inevitable happened. Went to clean the cage and the Male Conyar decided he would fly freelyl. Bad birdy. We are hoping he will come back, but dont like our chances. So we are left with a female conyar now, hoping to buy ourselves a partner for her of if we cant find one, we will try and tame her.

Sorry to hear about b4 getting away Judy. Are you able to get a partner for her? Ipswich is having a bird sale on June 11 if you are able to get there you might find a GC boy there.

Its been three days and Andrew heard him above in the trees last nite, so he is still around but not coming down. When and where is the bird show Karen? I am interested in going, as we are also looking at getting hold of some Alexandrines, breeding pair hopefully.

Fingers crossed for b4, hopefully he will realise the best place in the world for him is with you and come down voluntarily.

Hopefully b4 will come home if he's hanging around still. If b3 makes enough noise he might realize that's his partner and come down.

What happened Judy? Did he ever come back or did you buy a new boy?
