Ive had a harness for ages, but ive had a different one to this one. Its fiddly getting it in a small bird, the cd makes it look so much easier with the large birds, but hes not too bad. You have to be able to touch your bird everywhere especially under the wings, and be able to cover thier head with your fingers. The other harness i thought was less comfortable as it had two quite large buckles, and being so tiny, i didnt want them digging in his ribs. It was good for training though, they have to learn not to be frightened of it when its near. Anyway this one is still a bit fiddly to put on, as he is wriggly, but not nasty when i do. Hes beginning to accept me putting it on, as there are no nips or squeaks. Im hoping he will settle into it more when hes outside and enjoy the change of scene. Hes still nibbling it, but thats to be expected. He was pretty good today, bit stunned about being outdoors. Hes flown with it on indoors, and the elastic tether is brill, and works great. Im only doing it once or twice a week, i dont want to overdo it at the moment.

I remember Alex would just roll onto his back and refuse to move when I put the harness on him.
