Most conure species will do this & I know that some of my baby greys/timnehs occasionally do it too. I always warn people that if they find their conure baby upside down on the cage floor NOT to go into a panic as normally all is well!!

Someone collected their maroon-belly from me earlier this afternoon and they have bought 2 of these tents, (they're also coming back for a blue throatd ). Apparently they are rather scarce at the moment but they found theirs on e-bay. The Northern Parrots site www.24Parrot.com usually has them but seems as though they are out of stock.

aww thats a cute pic. I can feel the excited vibes comming from up north, down here Tel! .. Biggs has the tunnel type, he lies on his side in it, and its furry. I love this one, but it made me laugh ''not suitable for long tail parrots'' and shows a tiel on the pic. but it looks cuddly, but does not look big enough, the opening is only 2 1/2 inches. www.24parrot.com/Snuggle-Sack--Large-P37376/They are very clean little birds where they sleep. I bought mine from ''un' pampered pets''

They dont have a website Tel, and when i went in my local one today, they did not have one. They did have a furry ferret tunnel, if you find it hard to find something ill go back and have a look at it.That other one we both like didnt come in a slightly larger size did it? shame if i was a bird i would think it was cozy try looking amoung the chinchilla, ferret and rat toys, they have furry tunnels, mind you its no different to biggs turning round in his tunnel, he has had bit of a bent the other day tail, but its bent back Pm me your addy and ill pop a few little bits i know Biggs likes. Your little cuddle bugs getting feathers! he looks so sweet. .....awwww ................no... i mustnt....no scully!......nope...nooooo........................................noooooo

Thank you so much Donna, no they didnt have a larger one in that tent. My poor family have become computer widows, i felt really awful last night cos Cooper came across to me and he said 'oh are you still looking for things for our little Taome mummy' i thought poor lil guy maybe he's feeling neglected, but he went back to playing snap with Meg so alls good lol
*disclaimer* any social services reading, i do stop to give him food, he doesnt eat the wallpaper anymore lol
never thought about ferret things, im such a novice at this, dont know what i would have done without yourself or Muriel helping, i really appreciate it. Was looking at cages on ebay too and Meg facied one that was 5 foot high, becuase of how i rabbit on about people cramming birds into small cages is cruel etc, anyhow after speaking to Muriel i now know the size i need to look for (way i saw it is, get a 5 footer and i could put Cooper in there to play with Taome, when i go up to the aviary lol ................I'm jokin of course #norty# #norty#
por biggles with teh octopus, i had to go look to see what this big scary thing was like lol.
anyway DOnna its all your fault we're getitng one, with all the cute fotos of Biggles you put on the site, it made me broody..................bad Donna! lol
