I find the key to good health with my Conure is to have toys for them to play with to reduce boredom. Fresh fruit and Veggies Daily.
Some Treats are also welcome by the conure.
Fresh Greens are also good for keeping your conure healthy.
As clean water and food is a must.
Keeping the Conure Cage Clean is also a good Tip.

Great advice. Squash was brought up on a seed, nut, pellet, vitamin mix.... Thankfully she has accepted everything I have given her!! She LOVES her fresh greens & fruit.
Clean water is definitely a must. I've never seen such a pig throw food out of the dish & into the water!! I change her bowl at least 3 x daily.
Oh & a part of a healthy diet, sun conures require high vit A & when going through hormones I was told more solid foods, less soft foods.

Yes, cook pumpkin. You can also offer him the the pumpkin seeds - I've never been able to rescue the pumpkin seeds here before mum throws them away but I have read that birds enjoy pumpkin seeds.

While you’re thinking about health, don’t forget that you may occasionally need to give your bird emergency health care, because accidents do happen and birds do get sick sometimes. Factor in another $250 to $2,000 for emergency care.
