Feb 15th, and I awoke to bub #1 making peeps from the box. I was really hoping they would hold off until sunday when I get back from TX, but the way mom was on the first egg as soon as it was laid, incubating it, i knew it would be early. Anyways, heres bub #1, working on a name

Back from Texas, up to 4 bubs now OK pics! all 4 in a dog pile! Opals butt is the little on on the bottom of them! from today 2/20 a little blurry this is how you keep the little one warm! form yesterday, 2/19 just the 3 of them. Saphire is on the left, ruby in the middle with her butt to us, and Pearl on the right. Nice big, full crops (you can see all the goddies inside! lol) and reversed, ruby facing us now. and for a size comparison to my hand. Emerald should be here on thrusday 2/22

what a nice way to follow the hatching and growing up of your bubs. Quite a nice display of pics. What a good Idea using Cotton wool balls for lining the nest. Lots of information with this thread thank you

Thanks for that. That is the first time i have seen that. What a good idea Do the birds pull the balls to pieces ? I can see the paper would keep the bubs warm. One is never to old to learn
