hi i really want to see Jake or Jessie feeding their chick, is it ok to leave the inspection door open for just a few minutes so i can watch them and see if they feed it? i wouldnt leave it open for very long, what do you think? any advice would be great. if i can leave it open for a minute or two, i MAY be able to get a pic! hmmm...if it was me I think id leave the door up as much as possible, tiels are funny when it comes to feeding there young and at the moment the chick is small and needs all the feeds he can get, if you want to watch them feeding wait untill the youngsters are a bit older, to many things can happen when there teeny and new.

i have had 2 dreams about the baby since i found out it had hatched, the 1st was that it looked like Jessie and and almost all its feathers. the 2nd dream is very weird..........................................i dreamt we had 8............(yes 8) babies!!! but since we only have 4 eggs its rather strange! They were all flying around the liveing room with their MUm and Dad! a friend of mine said that i am dreaming about it som much as i could be worried about it, which is true as its so tiny and 1 st time parents. I was wondering yesterday if they were feeding it enough i really hope he feeds well and grows up healthy.................i am a bit of a worrier you could say

its only natural to worry about the little chick, I mean you have seen it and know how small and delicate it is just now keep your ears open for more chirps, going by when the first hatched you should have another one there now

hmmm well leave the eggs there, I have heard of them hatching late and anyway they serve as support for the lone chick, it stops the parents sitting to tight on him with eggs there as well.
