Have they started sitting on the eggs full time? It is still considered the same clutch.

hi Karen
they have been sitting on the eggs all day since the first egg! but Jessie has been sitting on them over night for 2/3 nights now.
i think i may have estimated the hatch time wrong, do you count 18-21 days from the 1st or 3rd egg ? even though they have been sitting since the 1st egg?

I think cockatiels lay between 5-8 eggs on average. Hatch time is calculated from when they start incubating.

well the first 2 eggs havent hatched yet, but we still have the 3 eggs from their second mating.......i'm not getting my hopes up though just incase.
i dont think they kept the eggs damp like i read somewhere, does this mean they wont hatch?

I wouldn't give up on the eggs yet, quite often if they don't start incubating straight away it can throw off hatch time. I'd give it 2 weeks past your estimated hatch time.
