What a stunning canary, is he a red factor. And can I spy a little Zee bee in there too. I used to have little Zebra finches too I love their meep meep calls. Welcome to the flock. Its nice to meet another canary owner, I'm owned by Tilley, and four budgies.

Hi Alexandra Sound like you have a wonderful collection. Canaries have the most wonderful song . I used to have a roller years ago called Sam and he sang so sweetly it could make you cry with happiness. I used to say it was like an angel singing. Sadly he died years ago now but he was daddy to 5 babbies. Billie

yeah he's song is beautiful!! makes me glad to wake up and hear him singing than hearing my kids arguing!!! ha ha ha
he was expensive but worth it! it took ages to find a male , we stood near the cage in the pet shop waiting to hear one start singing then the girl caught it for us!
there were 8 red factors in there and we desperately wanted a boy! it took about 4 visits to the petshop to pick him out!

yeah he is, he sings all day almost, but i do feel a bit guilty as he is singing for a mate but no one ever comes to him! poor lad, he must think no one loves him, but my husband doesnt want to get him a mate incase he stops singing! i'm working on him!! .................i always get my way eventually! girl power! ha ha ha ha i'd love to have baby canaries too, i think the tiels would have babies too the way they are going!

My previous canary Sam was a fabulous singer, he had a mate and 5 babies and he still sang.
Hope you can change hubbies mind, would be nice to see him with a little friend. They are so much happier in pairs aren't they.

Hey thanks, yeah he is a lovely colour he's a little heart breaker too, i want to get him a mate when the weather gets warmer. As he is in an outside aviary, i darent introduce a new bird in winter if its been used to an indoors environment poor thing would get a shock!
