Very elderly gouldians don't seem to appreciate the zebras joining them in the aviary

The way they are facing away from them, with their little beaks in the air #cheesy# Also, gouldians are rather prejudiced birds, and only like other gouldians #cheesy#

I just love Gouldians, never had any and had no idea that they were snobby to non-Gouldians. I've had Zebiees though and I bet they don't give a monkeys what the Gouldians think . Years ago when I had my aviery I had one fiesty little zeebie who acted like a bouncer he stood on the entrance to the bob hole (small door into sleeping quarters) and wouldn't let anything past, he saw of Diamond Doves (but they are a bit dense, love em) and seven canaries, as well as the other zeebies.

Oh your so right, they don't give a toss what anyone thinks at all. My fave thing is watching the zebs trying to get newly fledged babies back into the nest for bedtime! #cheesy# They finally get one in, go to get another, and the first little one sneaks out #cheesy# #cheesy# #cheesy# I had them in with canaries, but, as they are permanently nesting #rolleyes# they were picking on them a bit! Bad luck for them though, I have to reorganize my aviaries so my just out of quarantine lovebirds can have their aviary, and they are going to be sharing with canaries and tiels #cheesy# Just have to be brave enough to catch my pink and greys first...
