Congratulations Scully!! It looks as if your fluffballs are darker than mine At the moment mine both look as if they are going to be blonde! Good luck with the rest of the eggs - so far I only have 2 fluffballs so it doesn't look like the other 3 were fertile (not surprised though as I had to seperate them for a few days - Kenny lost the plot temporarily!). I don't mind at all though as long as Kiri & Kenny are happy & their fluffballs are healthy that's all that matters Can't wait to see some more pics

In the wild they will breed from about 18 months old and breed constantly for 3 years then retire from breeding altogether. they are great as pets, they have no fear of anything, are very entertaining and quite easy to tame (on their own terms lol) they love children (shown in pic in this section somewhere of my 2 year old holding one) and do nothing but play ALL day! They do need quite a generous living space (cage) as they are so energetic, apart from that they are very easy to keep, will eat absolutely ANYTHING hope this helps

I have tried there Jules, nothing where I live! I did buy today, the pair of lovebirds from here www.petlink.com.au/Classifieds/sale/273866.htmlHe wants kaks too, and if he finds a breeder he will let me know. Funnily enough, I know him from another forum Nice to put a name to a face.

Lin, there is a guy in South Australia who breeds them if you & the the guys want a breeding pair each you could go for a looong drive! I think he also ships. Judy, I know a breeder in Beenleigh who has a number of kaks - if you are near that area. I have bought from him twice before & his birds are nice. They can breed from 4-6 months old (too young!) but most breeders won't put them to breed before 8 months old.
Donna, I am totally jealous of your fluffballs!
