Now after all the worry about what to do..i put them in with the Budgies..shhhhh must'nt speak too soon, but its been a very peaceful cage today. Kak babies have pigged out, Budgies have pigged out on the Kaks food, but all are content. Then! i forgot there was water in it..and Harvey finds it fasinating to watch and tries to join in.. not alot of room for two..but Harvey still has a go after which Big mummy takes the bath to the tap to fill it up some more..baby Kak stays in hehe look at me...my first bath! Never mind about holding the towel for them..i was holding the bath! all is well in the Scully feathery family

Oh my dog!!! Look at them! They are sooo big and soooo cute!!! The one of Sugar after her bath is just hilarious!!! Mine only really get their tummies and wings wet and only when I spray them do they get their heads wet but they have no choice! She is absolutely soaked right through!! Bless her!
I just can't get over how gorgeous they are Scully!! Well done Sugar and Spice!! #heart# #heart# #heart#
I would definitely say that Lennys toe will drop off by itself... it'll probably wither a bit more then go! Great that the infection has cleared up and he is looking sooo handsome! I love the 'looking for a place to land' pic!

Lovely pics Donna...
With the toe i'd still let the vet have another peak at it, that looks just like Puku's did, One quick snip and it was gone.
Orange, how deep is the bath you give your two? Mine never seemed to get very wet till i put a deeper bath in, ( A deep pyrex dish out the kitchen lol) and now they get them selves completely soaked....

Im still thinking the same way Jon..did Puku have anesecic? Its really hanging on with not alot, but becasue of my vet saying he would have to give Lennie anesectic, i feel its a bit dodgy yet as hes so young.
Sugar has her baths deep,if she feels they are shallow, she rolls around in it.

Their bath is a good 2 (and a half maybe) inches deep.... should it be deeper?
I wouldn't worry about the toe y'no, the vet would probably take it off just so that you don't have to worry about it (and to make a quick extra few quid!) but as long as its not infected or troubling him I would just leave it. By all means if you are worried get the vet to have another look though. I had a hamster once which this happened to his whole foot!! After a course of antibiotics and the infection cleared up then it just sort of withered away and fell off... I was vet nursing at the time and took him into work for regular checks which really were unnecessary as it was fine and not bothering him in the least, I was worried about an anaesthetic too... so we left it and it was fine.
Yes I am having baby fluff Lin... if that is still ok with Donna?!! He is gorgeous isn't he!!! #heart# #heart# #heart# #heart# #heart#

oh no! that means Dawnie might be leaving next week oh thats just too sad hehehe..they are both in the bath again right now..so funny, Harvey wont go in on his own.It seems to be working out quite well in with the Budgies. Perhaps as they are babies, its working. I wouldnt trust Sugar and Spice with Graham. Harvey was cuddling up to one of them last night. Hes a great budgie, even though he can chirp for england! Little fluff is venturing out the nest right now, bless him. Now i know its going to be him, at least i can go ahead and find a home for the other little girl.

perhaps a nice centrallly heated nestbox, with piped music, and aromatic wood chippings, might get the mood going Karen just a thought

Little Fluff wants to show his new mummy to be, he made it all the way up to the highest perch this morning for the first time. It took him 3 attempts, but he did it in the end

I'm more likely to wring the the monsters' neck at the moment!! All weekend he has been like a viscious demon! Everytime I put food in the cage he'd lunge for my hand! He had an injured back & wing (which I treated) & I saw the hen on Sunday she was pretty bedraggled too. He copped me once the little buggar and I was lucky to get my hand out intack! I'm hoping that means him & his missus are finally getting it on! She was rather abusive on Saturday, abusing me everytime I went near the cage - how did she know I was there when she was at the bottom of the box?
