Heres Dawnie on her 3hr Journey, her little sis was not happy to be left on her own in the budgie cage. crappy car pic Dawnie did not seem to mind the journey at all, and now again we heard her little chirp. Her new Mummy was so chuffed. Infact she had bought this huge cage in, on the bus! Dawnie has a lovely cage, and she has a little snuggle nest thing, which we all know she will love. She was on her best behaviour too when she first met her new mummy, and got lots of tickles and strokes, and stayed there. She almost had someones lunch! Anyway Dawnie has a lovely home, along with two budgies. Now my news, not really for Breeding chat, but it was all part of the day. I went up with a full cage, and came back with a full cage! wow did i get a surprise..they had bought me a baby grey Budgie! :-XI was so chuffed, i did not know what to say, how lovely of them.(Dawnies Mum, and another lady at work) Here he is on the way home He's grey with a white face, and around 6-7weeks old i think. At work i was so busy, i did not really get a chance to looka t him untill i got him home. Well im not sure if he has not got a deformed tail. I just thought he had lost his main tail feather, and thought nothing of it, untill i had a close look at him. He has a stumpy bit on one side, and this tail that sticks out of the other side, at a bit of an angle. Hes really chirpy, and lively, so im sure even if he has this slight deformed Bum, hes gonna be fine. Hes , home hes mine, and he needs a name! Ill take some better pics tommorow Oh and last bit of good news, Lennies toe came off. I think he bit it off, but hes left with a clean stub, with just a little back end. And the bad news! i think the other side is going the same way. I think my house should be called Scullys handicapped pets home.

Lucky Dawnie for getting a great new mum and a nice big cage to go with it!!! Lucky Scully for getting a new birdy!! Lucky Lennie for getting rid of his toe without any snipping from the vet!!! Good day all round I'd say Donna! I am looking forward to seeing more pics of Stumpy Bum, he couldn't have hoped to get a better mummy to look after him.... stump and all!!

well hes a lovely little grey bird, and yes Lin it was a lovely thought, for those two ladies to do that.I was a little lost for words, when i saw him. I'm reckoning it was chewed by the parents or something when he was in the nest. Anyway hes perky, and im sure Graham will take him under his wing, when hes out of quarintine. Hes far too lovely to be called Stumpy.. Little Grey Fluff is having a bit of a hard time from his parents this week. They go for him, but they dont go for Lennie. They are feeding him, but it been slowly getting more nasty over the week. Anyway im going to see if he can eat on his own the weekend, even if with a little help from me.
