OK I havent got him yet, he is still being weaned so have to wait until the 1 July.
I have told most people I was definitely not getting any more birds - yeah right Lin will say hehe.
Well this guys isnt just ANY bird.
I have bought - wait for it hehe - A baby male African Grey.
I am excited yet nervous about getting him. I think once weve spent a little time together we will get on great.

Unfortunately no he is at the breeders farm - he breeds 500 pairs once a year. He has put aside one of his best males for me. Ive seen some of the older ones that are cuties but mine is specially saved for me.
I hope he doesnt bite me!

I'm sure you both will be very happy with each other. I am excited with this news, I read of an African Grey that can say over 950 words and has a sense of humour.
whispers *Sal, think Boomboom will be open for a Kakariki next?*

Ive just been a bought him a cozy hut - thinking with him being a baby he might wanna snuggle - if not Noo will use it as a tent.
I hope he doesnt squawk my house down. He is hand reared so hopefully will be quite used to being handled.

I have enough room for this one more cage due to getting the budgies all together.
As for Kaks - I think Im going to be far too busy with my new guy to even think of more birds.
I could do with any knowledge you guys have on greys - Ive done a fair bit of research but appreciate any help.
