and I saw a bird in the middle of the road. Asked child number 2 to get out and scare it into flight, and found it could only flutter. Without asking (that's my boy ), he whipped off his shirt, wrapped the bird in it, and jumped back into the car. I know I'm adorable, but that is no reason to stare! how rude! A minute ago I was getting cuddles and head scratches, now I'm in a cage! The world has gone crazy!

It doesn't seem to be injured at all. I am too scared to check his wings, to see if they have been severly clipped, or whatever. I am going to try stick training tomorrow, if it is someone's pet that should work quite quickly.
He has managed to remove the seed container, and water container in his cage, and throw the contents all over the cage, and seems quite happy and chirpy #cheesy#

Hmmmm, reminds me of last week when I saw a Galah by itself eating seed from weedy plants. (sorry theyll have to be weedy plants cant think of name of them). He wasnt in a flock, just by himself. Which I thought weird. I got almost to touching point of the bird n woulda bought it home but had no money n no cage at the time I hope he/she is okay Plus I was with a group of people and couldnt take it in their car home. #cry# #rolleyes#

Unfortunately little Sooky seemed to have brain damage, and passed away on Wednesday. He was lying in my arms like a baby, freezing cold. I did everything I could, but Mother Nature wanted to take him home

How terribly sad. At least at the end he had the best of care and love .

That is so sad ... he was a stunning bird. It's wonderful that he died in your loving arms.
