Today I went to pick up my newest bird, a lutino indian ringneck called Sunshine. She was advertised on another forum and I just had to get her. She comes from a wonderful home but her previous slave works alot and doesn't really have any more space for cages and Sunshine was getting nippy with the tiels she was sharing a cage with and needed her own cage as well as a friend to share it with. She is 3 months old and has a bony growth or bit of bone sticking up on her back that she's always had but it doesn't stop her getting around. When I take pics I will post them to show you. She is the sweetest little thing. Well I actually don't know if she's a he or she but she looks like a she so that will do for now. Some of you might have seen her pic where she was called the hunchback of perth.
I wasn't going to get another bird for a while, although I was eyeing off some budgies the other day at least not til I get my princess baby but she just melted my heart.

She does look tiny! Looks as small as a budgie, but that adorable beak gives it away! Geronimo says she's gorgeous!

Thanks guys. The lorikeets want to play with her but I'm worried they will gang up on her. I've put her cage near theirs so they can see each other. She doesn't seem too bothered by their noise either which is a good thing as they make plenty. LOL

My lorikeets do give my ringneck a hardtime! The ringneck is quite placid, but between the budgies and the lorikeets (in nesting mode), his life can be quite awful. He gets his own back on the tiel though. He holds the tiel down with his foot, and pecks at the wings and tail feathers.
