I found this on the Bobtails Website and knew you guys would love it to - I was bawling like a baby!
More than an angel
The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass watching the reunions.
Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the Rainbow Bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the Bridge together.
The young pup playfully nipped at the older one. "Look, something wonderful is happening!" The older dog stood up and barked "Quickly--get over to the path." "But that's not my owner" whined the pup, but he did as he was told.
Thousands of pets surged forward as this new figure walked along the path toward the Bridge. As the figure passed, each animal bowed his head in love and respect. The figure finally approached the Bridge and was met by a menagerie of joyous animals. Together, they all walked over the Bridge and disappeared.
The young pup was in awe. "Was that an angel?" he whispered.
"No, son" the old dog replied. "That was more than an angel. That was a person who works in animal rescue."

That was so sweet and thanks for the letter from your pet elsewhere in this section. I read that the night Tilley died and cried and cried but it helped.
Where is this bobtails website anyway, or would I further risk electrocuting my self crying on the computer again?

I'm so sorry to hear about Tilley Billie - I completely agree with the others that you made the right decision. Ultimately it has to be about loving them enough, and having the courage to let them go before their suffering becomes too great. I feel that we owe our animals that dignety, especially as they enrich our lives so much. Bobtails is actually a Rabbit and Guinea Pig rescue centre, and if you google bobtails you'll find them. You may need a box of kleenex next to you though, as there are some icky tales on there as well as some heart warming ones. I personally wish I could take them all home . There is one tale on there - if you go to their news section and scroll down to an article called Dumped Bunny. It's heartbreaking, and heartwarming as it follows his tale from being found to recovery. I cried like a baby, and I was at work when I read it All the batties send you hugs and tweets

Thanks for your kind words and support. I'm so glad I found this forum, you are all wonderful and have helped me through some tough times in the last year.
Hopefully I will post some happier tales and more pics of The Blue Team as I call my flock and of course of the new bub too.
Thanks again, lots of love
