Well if anyone was gonna start this thread it was always gonna me be wasn't it
I must confess we have a new critter in the house ....
I have adopted a hamster
He actually took his holidays at my house last year while his mummy was away, and when he went home again she said that he never really settled down. Bless her she thought that he was missing the birdies, and used to try whistling to him to cheer him up She did try for a few months, but said he was just sitting in the corner of his cage looking glum, and asked if I would be able to take him on He arrived on Sunday afternoon, and has been sooooooo active - he's also gigantic Looks more like a guinea pig than a hamster He comes out to play in the aviary in the evenings, and all 10 birdies sit there staring down at him in utter fascination while he hoovers up all the bird seed I do have to keep an eye on him though, otherwise he scales the sides of the aviary and 5 ft in the air is a heck of a long way for a hammy
