Well I think you're very brave ..........I'm with your fella on this one.........no way could I touch a snake. Well done for taking such good care of those two kookaburras.

ohhhh i would chop up a snake no problems... chopping mice and anything furry of feathery i could never do... but anything from the sea (fish crabs snails whatever) or snakes or bugs and insects i could chop up without a worry.... strange hey.

Are they the birds with that crazy laugh? If it is them, I heard them once on TV and that laugh is hilarious!

We have 4 of them now. All of them have their left wing damaged so will stay with us for ever. They can be such noisy buggers when they all start 'laughing' but we love them ;D

These are really neat birds, I wonder if they are a little like our "Camp Robbers" we have here in the states. The are actually called Stellar Jays. Big dark blue birds with a nice big crest that easily indentifies thems. That and their squawking!! I'll send in a pic, Juli
