Hi there, just though i would let everyone know i moved into the world of ringnecks today, purchased 7 young birds, all green, but 2 of them from blue/yellow parents and the other 5 from a green trio. All 7 cost me $100 so i think i got a good deal there. Another i discovered is the ringneck have a nice bite on them, Can anyone help me with what age they generally get their sex markings. Rick

What a fantastic buy Rick! You must be stoked. I only know with ringnecks what I've read and the average is around 2years old is when the male gets his ring. He can also start showing signs of it around 18 months. I'd like to suggest not putting your fingers near their beaks.
