Hi. Every morning when my chilli sits on my shoulder he pulls my hair softly and he like nibbles on my ear and on my neck. It's not realy nibbling but like almost likking me. I just get goose bumps every where. What is he doing ?

He's preening you. Making sure your 'feathers' are clean and right.

LOL I've got a sensitive neck too and sometimes it's almost unbearable when they preen you. He's taken to you big time

Well, as soon as I take him out his cage, he would not let me go. It also seem like he likes woman, and just want to bite all men. Now i can go outside with him and he just sits on my shoulder the hole time.

You're asking for trouble if you take him outside with you unless he is harnessed? if not just think - one slight noise to frighten him and he will be off!!! it has happened to people I know in the past.

Alot of birds can still get enough lift to be gone. For your own sanity get a harness, that way you needn't worry about him getting frightened. It will take a bit of time to get him used to it though.

The problem for me is, I stay in SA and every one i asked does not know what i am talking about. They did not know you get bird harnesses. Here things are a bit slower then there by you.

my duckling does that its funny,he's 12weeks old now he was rescued from a bin still in egg due to hatch.when hatched he had phnumonia.so had him on antibiotics for ages, this was at my local hospital.dumped the eggs there.saying they did it cos they didn't want to be over populated.thats just sick i think so slowly warmed him up in bator and he hatched late the next day.i only went for blood tests came back with him.wasn't leaving him.i could just about hear him.everyone says how big he is.the vet said great you found him he'd of most probably died otherwise
