I'm sorry Mue I couldn't help myself - I have to share my good news ;D I'm picking up this little beauty on Saturday, as Mue is nearly certain it's a girl I may need some help on names for her, anyone? Brown headed parrot

Well, brown headed parrots are from Africa, so I looked up the region where they are from, found the common language, then looked up names. (I really like native names) Some results for a female- AYO (Ah-yo), which means Joy LISHA -mysterious MONIFA- I am lucky MENE (Me-na)- She who is never lonely SISI (see-see)- Born on Sunday Granted, those names may be hard to remember... She's beautiful, by the way can't believe I almost forgot to say that...

aww now ...hmm ..names...ill have a think..she looks like a Harriette at the moment. but thats a bit long for her to say i guess.

What a stunning bird, if it isn't too corney may I suggest Sundance as the sun is dancing on those feathers in the picture and she has yellow on her too. She is beautiful, congratulations. I like the idea of native names though, names with a meaning. Billie xx

how about Suri (and I did not think of that b/c of Tom and Kate's little girl, it just came to mind and then realized that it was the name of Kate and Tom's Cruise little girl) but it is a pretty name Karen

Can you all have another look at the pic at the top, Mue sent me the wrong pic and I was sooooo excited I didn't even notice lol I love the name Shula, Ayo and Darla. Connie and Megan (Derives from Margaret in memory of my Mum) came up in conversation last night too, decisions decisions!
