A new member on conure crazy posted this. From the photo listed, he's a blue crowned not a green (white eyed)
If anyone in the area can take in a new conure, please contact her asap!
I am hoping someone here might be able to offer some advice on finding a home for a family bird.
We have recently had a death in the family, and we are looking for a home for a now-homeless green conure. No one in the family is able to provide the attention and daily care a bird requires. His name is Caper, and he is 18 years old. He has no health problems, he's pretty chatty, and he has been raised around children and cats. He has a cage and a perch that would travel with him. He is currently living by himself with someone stopping by in the morning and evening.
I've attached a picture of him.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you!
I check email daily at firstname.lastname@example.org
Caper lives in Nashville, TN, but would be willing to travel in the Southeast.
OH MAN! I wish I had seen this sooner!..I live some what close to there & may be able to have my husband stop to meet them in his truck on his way through next week.. touch base with us & let us know one way or the other, if not I have a spot in my heart for another stray..poor baby..
