Ok. That's what the lady said on the phone, that her daughter is 25 and has a Grey, and would recommend them to everyone 18+. I think your right and that right now Cockatiels would be my best bet.

How about a Brown headed parrot like my little Meg? She is soooo easy to handle, very loving, steps up on command already and is only 9 inches tall - she is the quietest of all my birds by far, even when she screams it's a real quiet scream - my cockatiel can be so loud he makes your ears ring! Here's a video of just how cuddly they are, my Meg is just like this! She's so loving and cuddly it's untrue - beware though they LOVE chillies and I've been caught loads when she's come over for kisses - my lips end up red and swollen! lol www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ff7r6xrz4M&feature=relatedHere's a couple of pics of Meg... She's adorable

There's too many choices! I've been in a zoo camp this week and today we got to go in the aviaries. There were cockatiels swinging on the branch toys at the top and the sun conures were squawking all over the place. They also had some birds that looked like cockatoos. But the cutest thing was this little green cheek conure (his name is Greeny) that was playing with the visitors. She landed on one of the volunteer's heads and started playing with her hair! It was so sweet! This one girl was under a cockatiel vine and she started talking about how she hates birds. At that exact moment a cockatiel poops right on her shirt. Perfect timing.

How are you going with this Blaine? Have you found a bird that you would like yet?
