Thanks Taming a Moustache is easy if you hand raise the bird yourself. They are a one person bird as most are. Ben is just starting to get his red beak he is also just starting to put words together. Plus he gives kisses. very cute i think. I find the best way to train Ben is to spend alot of time with him. I hope this answer,s your question.

Lovely flock you've got there Fred. Ben doesn't look very old, his beak is still black. Very nice looking bird. I wish my 2 wouldn't freak every time go went near them! Danny is gorgeous, my boy refuses to forgive me for trying to harness train him.

Karen
Ben is just 12 month old. Do you have a pair of moustach ? I know they can be flighty.
Alot of people like to use a harness with the birds. I am not fond of them at all.
Your GC wont forgive you for trying the harness have you tryed treats to win him back ?
I have been lucky with Danny if he fly,s off me I just say ''come on'' and he comes straight back and lands on my shoulder.

My pair of Moustache's - George & Mildred - are around 16 months old.
Alex (GC) loves his greystripe's but if I just offer my hand he runs to the back of his cage. When he's out with me he'll spend his time under my hair. The harness is tucked at the back of my desk drawer now.

morning Sal
Both Sweety and Danny think they are the boss.
They let each other know but the good thing they don't fight.
When I took that pic Sweety was telling Danny to ''get out'' #norty#

Yes sweety talks his head off. It is nice to have birds well trained. Danny is almost the same we are working on that. As is Ben only ben is a little shy with other people. The joys of owning a bird each day is never the same. I would also say that I am Birdcrasy. What a nice way to be.
