I got Joey 2 weeks ago. I wasn't going to but he was a great price and so cute! He's 07 bred, split to Red, so I have paired him up with Sheena who has moulted into alot of yellow so when they breed hopefully next year or 2010 I'll get chance of red hen's and males split to red and lutino.

If you forgot Joey, then I forgot to check. Where do you get all these gorgeous birds?

He's beautiful, so cute and colorful! How old? I should be in a more Fid-friendly apartment than my last one in September and thinking of adding to my feathery family. The only birds I'm very familiar with are Tiels, Finches and African Greys so this might be a dumb question but what sort of Parrot is Joey exactly? Would love to start doing research now and maybe buy or adopt one like him.

I've got great contacts in aviculture over here and they do me good deals. Joey is an Eastern Rosella - he is also split to red and possibly split to lutino. They are a great bird but better for aviaries, they are not known for being a cuddly bird even when handraised. They certainly brighten up any aviary though!
