He is so CUTE!!! I love his little voice! I talk like that with Star before bed. He isn't hand tame, but he loves to have quiet little conversations, and I'm very happy to oblige!

That is our special time together. He is just so sweet. When he was sick I went out and bought a second cage for him and put him right beside me when I went to bed. Anyone who knows what lorikeets are like will know that my bed was a little messed up each morning from the poop he shot at me but he's worth it... His energy level is so much better now and he's getting his confidence back so I'm hoping we are over the worst of it.

Unfortunately I think I may have spoke too soon. Robby had another episode yesterday of what we think may be seizures. The vet asked me to video tape it for him because by the time we get him there it's over and they really can't tell what was wrong. I'm just getting the video ready now for him and hopefully he will be able to tell what happened to him. It's so scary.

Poor little guy! I hope the vet can get it figured out. My thoughts are with you today.

Thank you so much.
I will keep you posted. He's stable today but not as active. It always tires him out so much.
The vet sometimes does his rounds to the breeders on Wednesday's so I don't expect to hear anything until tomorrow.

I just got off the phone with Dr. Tucker. He is going to call my other vet, the one that has done the blood work in the past and has never given me any results.. 1st test they said the blood clotted before they could test it. 2nd test made no sense at all, saying there was too much sugar for them to test it. Anyway Robby is doing fine. He had his normal bath time last night and enjoyed it as usual. He's maybe not quite as peppy as normal but he's climbing all over his cage with no problems. Perching is no problem at all. We played get it this morning as usual and he was throwing that toy just as far as he always does. He's eating and drinking and pooping lol fine. I'm probably looking at taking him to Exeter, Ontario on Monday or Wednesday to see Dr. Tucker and have his blood work done. Luckily Robby enjoys car rides, that's 1 1/2 hours from us. I will keep you all posted. Thanks so much for caring... Robby loves you all

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about his health problems. My hubby was watching the video from behind me and he wanted to watch it a couple of times. He said that was just the sweetest thing. I totally agree.

he is the sweetest and loves to sit and tell me stories. I think he would do that all day if I had more time. I`m pretty confident that we will at least get results from this vet. I just have to know what`s going on. It`s so scary. I probably won`t get a call from him until Monday, that way he`ll have time to go over his records and then we go from there. Robby is good today He`s trying to look right into the camera lens to say hi to you all

I would be practically beside myself waiting as long as you have to! I hope this in-between period doesn't have to continue much longer. I'm glad Robby is staying cheerful.
