My fluffers say thank you Tasha #heart# lol ... you should see this last one that hatched, its so itty bitty by comparison to the others lol makes me nervous its not gonna get enough, but I guess I need to stop borrowing worry
I know i shouldnt but rational thought flys out my left ear, when I see this lil fuzz small as a finch baby!! , your right though george!#heart# Dinks such a sweet pea LOL! I should name that small one dinky huh? lol
Aww, I really do understand how you feel, I still get worried about Dink. I don't think I'll stop worrying about him until he's all grown up and looking after himself! I wish you every bit of luck and good fortune in the world for your own "Dink"! I'm sure he'll be just fine!
I went ahead and pulled these 2 yesterday & started hand feeding, this way the two small ones can catch up with mom & dad putting the focus on them..that one baby laying on his back was so comfy lol I had to get a picture of that..these little guys are so hilarious..
I could only take pictures in this container, because my camera is too big & funky to hang onto with one hand..I will post some better ones soon. the two are coming along nicely with mom & dad
heres an update on my green cheek chicks- I started with the two up above, which as you can see they are getting their dark pin feathers in now!! the other two were pulled a day apart, we went ahead & pulled the last one yesterday evening! these babies are the sweetest lil dumplings..the largest one squeeks but his baby call is now turning froggy & he tries to rub his head all over my hands lol......
This last pic is funky! the flash made it entirely too bright so I did my best to darken & sharpen it
I absolutely love these sweet angels! they are pure joys...my little lucky charms, I hope you enjoy these
I am modifying this post to add these pictures lol they were in there brooder & I had to show you how they sleep look how they hang there heads over their nest container!!
its so funny to me, at first I was like :otheir gonna choke, the lil dickens are fine! when hold them in my hands they prefer their heads propped up lol
OMG!!! These babies are so cute!!!!!! I wish you lived closer to me, I would put one on hold.. I am hoping I can get Jo-Jo hand tame. I am taking her tomorrow to a vet so the tech can clip her wings for me and show me how again. Then I will start working with her in the bathroom, or put the dogs in their crate and the cat in the basement and work with her in the living room on the floor, but I think the bathroom is better since it is a smaller area.
I want a baby now!!!!
