Aww thanks, if I lived closer, I'd give her to you in a heartbeat too! I really hope I find her a good home. I got a message from a lady saying she "might be interested". She said she keeps and breeds other species of comure so I guess she'd know how to look after her properly. She asked some weird questions though! But she seemed nice.
... oh... who am I trying to kid?? I wish that lady hadn't emailed!
Good plan Karen! I don't know which birds she breeds though. She added me on messenger earlier and I've been talking to her today. She seems really nice actually. She says all her birds are rescue birds and that I can visit whenever I like. I think I'm taking Ivy over to her on sunday now! Ahhhhh!! Too soon! I'm gunna miss her!
It's a bit wonky! The vet seemed to think she'd suffered some sort of trauma to it as a young bird. It was cut right back when I got her and has slowly (oh so very very very slowly!) started to grow back but the bottom still overlaps the top. Doesn't stop her from making a load of noise with it though!
Oh George, so sorry to hear about Ivy and the choices you have to make I wish I could help you out but I don't have the room for another birdie Feel bad cos I'm not far from you and the 'outlaws' are virtually your nieghbour and they deffo don't have room!!
