I found out from a breeder friend of mine who is really into genetics that since my little girl is a cinnamon and her mom is a lutino, then the baby is definitely a girl! Cinnamon is a sex linked gene and if mom had been a visual cinnamon then the baby would have been a boy. So, she is definitely a little girl!! Of course that is unless she takes after her mom. Her mom was dna'd a male!! #rolleyes#

i have both, the first nest i had were 3 different mutations, 2 girls and 1 boy, the girls : cinnamon and lutino, now this year the cinnamon had 5 different mutations and 1 was a cinnamon boy and the father is a whiteface pied further i had normal Grey male, cinnamon whiteface male, also pearl cinnamon whiteface and whiteface girls in fact when you breed cockatiels the colors comme from the male, the shape of the girl if you have for instance if you have a male with cinnamon and lutino in the genes, you can be sure that these 'r girls only if pied you wont have pied if there is no pied in the girl if you have pearl and cinnamon in the man you can have pearled cinnamon girls.
