Well im blowed, i always thought sprouted seed had nutritional value, and thats why i did mine.

there is.... sprouting seeds are very benificial ....
the artical said SEEDS have little or no nutritional value... not the sprouts.... : )

"There is no nutrional value in a seed (except niger) which does not readily sprout. An 80% and above sprouting rate reflects a seed of good quality".
What it meant by that was if the seeds don't sprout easily - they have little nutrional value.

I just put some of my normal food in to sprout, but i have found out its a good idea to use that cat litter stuff, as it stops mould. I chucked some of mine out because of that, and i used earth.
