Hello, all! Welcome to the month of May!
...Ok, so that was my attempt at an April Fool… please bear with me. Hope you are all doing well and that nobody played anything too mean on you today! So far I've only been had once, but we'll see what the evening brings.
Without further ado… the Newsletter.

The Birdie Confessionals saw some action this month!
I was finally able to bring home my GCC Jasper, and he's doing very well!
Karen posted twice. Her first confession: eight gorgeous budgies, including my personal weakness… the spangle mutation.
Phill bought a Muscovy duckling! Phill's thinking she is a girl. We're hoping for some pics soon!
Battybirdie brought home a little male tiel named Wally. She claims her hand was forced…
Tel was strolling around the garden center… long story short, she has a new little boy budgie!
And, Karen's second entry: she brought home a little feathered lady from the Parrot Society of Australia show. Name possibilities: Molly, Regina, or Nelly. What do you guys think?
Sarah has been kept busy, as she took in two new kakarikis this month. They are lucky to be with her! She is taking great care of them and they are doing well.
Judy has a positively stunning male red-tailed black cockatoo named Preston! He's going to be Jetta's mate… fingers crossed that they get along well!
Some of my favorite threads from this month (other than the confessional):
Muppet Board: Death of the Pillsbury Doughboy. Canuck has found the hilarious stuff yet again!
Grass Parrot Breeding: new pics 28th March – Chicks. Karen has done a wonderful job of "documenting" the growth of a clutch or red rump chicks! Great pictures and adorable chicks.
And there were at least two (excuse me if I missed somebody) good intro threads!
Bubba the budgie told us all about his life… he got a rough start but thanks to his mom, Moni, he is doing great!
Riley the cockatiel introduced himself, with some help typing from his mom, Rileyluver4ever, or Charlotte. Riley's a great guy!
In the Competition section, a winner was announced for the Lovvey Dovvey Competition! First place went to Karen for her picture of Sam and Turbo. Congrats Karen!
That is about it for March! Have a great month everyone, see you on the boards!
