He's settled in pretty well and we have had a lovely little song from him this evening so i thought the camera flash wouldnt upset him too much. It didnt, but boy did i get some dirty looks for disrupting his singing
It was me behind the camera so they are a bit rubbish, will get Jon to take some better ones tomorrow
and this ones a bit dark, but i love his markings so tried to get them on camera... it didnt go well #norty#
if i sit down at all from the time i get up to the time i go to bed 9 times out of 10 im at the computer, so i've put him on a little table next to the computer desk. He doesnt seem to mind hands so far, isnt flustered by my typing, moving the mouse or tickling his tummy through the bars when he jumps up close. I wont put my hand in the cage for a few days till im really sure that he has settled properly, i dont want to risk freaking him too much and making him hate me
At most (ie.. if he's on the back perch of the cage) he's 12 inches away from me every time i sit here, im hoping that being near him as much as i can be will help him learn to trust me. Will soon find out if it works!!
Kids love him, Jamie is very happy that he can fly and Jon is amazed that i didnt come home with a charity case - he has nothing wrong with him and wasnt a rescue mission
