Hi my name is Angela, and I live in Qld Australia. I breed cockatiels, used to handraise them, but dont have the time anymore so they are parent raised now. I live on a small acreage property with lots of bushland, where we get lots of wildlife visiting, including possums, wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas, goannas and even the odd dingo. I am lucky that we get lots of birds visiting, including rainbow lorikeets, galahs, sulphur crested cockatoos, red tailed black cockatoos (rarely),pale headed rosellas, king parrots, kookaburras, kingfishers,an assortment of honeyeaters, owls, tawny frogmouths, and the list goes on.......... I love to paint birds, and often have my paintings for sale on ebay. Look forward to chatting with this group.

I didn't start painting until I was about 20, and I don't believe it is a gift, I had lessons with a very talented lady, who taught me that anyone can learn to paint, it just takes practice and passion. Give it a go, you will probably surprise yourself. I think the trick is to find a subject that you love. For me, it is parrots (obviously, lol)
