Hello everyone, thought I would drop in and say a big hello. A couple of people already know me here but for those that don't my name is Anna and I live in Adelaide South Australia. I have been breeding birds for about 10 years or could be more I loose track LOL. I am owned by 7 male pet tiels, 3 blue Indian Ringnecks and 1 blue female princess parrot. All these birds were h/reared by me and all live happily in their own bird room in separate cages LOL. All of these birds talk and whistle but the Ringnecks and the Princess Parrot are the best talkers and they never shut up until their covers go on them at night time. We basically have 2 houses one for hubby and me and one for my 3 grown lads and the companion birds live in the middle. I also have many other birds, like budgies, Adelaide Rosella's, lots of Cockatiels ( I am tiel mad), Indian Ringnecks, Rosa Bourkes, Regent Parrots, Superb Parrots, Princess Parrots and one lone finch which we have had for about 7 years. I hand rear most of the babies I get and have been doing it now coming up for 7 years apart from budgies as they are little beasties to feed. I also know a bit about tiel genetics but only in layman terms. I grow my own veggies and herbs for my birds. I love all things to do with nutrition for birds. When I get going I am known to be a bit of a gasbag when it comes to birds. Anyway looking forward to getting to know you all better and hopefully being able to contribute to this forum. Cheers Anna Olive

Hi Anna, welcome back You really do have your hands (or feathers) full!! You can "gasbag" as much as you want to about birds, its the right place for it Im sure you will be able to contribute a lot to the forum with all your knowledge and experience and it would be much appreciated all round. Just a friendly warning though, lin will be asking you LOTS of questions about tiels now you have said you know something about them lol.

Hi Anna. Great to see you here. You have a lot of info to share with us here. I love rosa burkes and princess parrots, although I don't have any, and probably will never afford them. It's so good to hear of others who do, and share their experiences with the rest of us. I'm looking forward to hearing even more about you, and your birds.
