Unfortunately my husband isn't that easy to trick. He was actually doing very good with Miss Daisy till she started her chewing thing, now he has nothing to do with her because he doesn't trust her.
I swear he has absolutely zero patience. Thats ok it just gives me more time with her. Even though she still flies on his shoulder he will look at me and say will you come get her, I don't trust her.
Go figure a big beefy man who works on cars and gets all dirty and greasy and has absolutely no fear of dogs (we have a great dane) that can tear limbs off, he is gonna be afraid of this tiny little cockatiel.
I have to give him credit though, I think he is afraid that he will tap her on the head or something if she does bite him and he KNOWS if he does that he would be in serious trouble with me.

love your tiel, and welcome along to bird crazy I'm thinking about ketting a bird,I saw a white, what looked like parrot with an afro.It immediately flew into my heart when it started talking to me!,I didn't buy it as i thought it would be immature to buy one withought knowing a single thing about parrots. If i got one it would be in my room, in a cage, of course.I know some birds need to be in groups, as i only want one bird as a companion.I'v read on canairies, they aren't my thing, sadly.I would love to get an attractive bird thats not very messy and is socialable. Does anyone have any suggestions? GO GO GO!

a good sociable bird would be a tiel. I own two so when Im at work they are company for eachother. Stimpy is very sociable and happy to go wherever I go. Lorikeets are very sociable, but they tend to get messy. Galahs are a great companion bird as well, and they talk pretty easily. Budgies are also a good companion bird to.
