Hi from beautiful (& currently snowy) southwestern BC! Found this site while just browsing around. Currently not owned by a fid - my precious featherhead Chico (normal cockatiel) passed away in my hands on April 22, after delighting me with his company for over 16 years. Still miss him terribly but it helps to talk with other feathered families. As soon as I figure out how, I'll put up a pic of Chico.

Hi and welcome to the mad house. I'm sure Chico had the most wonderful 16 years with you. Hey can I come live at your place? I love snow and don't get to see it

Hi Bratbird, welcome to Bird Crazy. 16 years! wow that's a great life together, I can certainly understand how it must still ache.

I think I might have an answer to your question though. How To Post Pictures: First, you go to tinypic.com (or any other image hosting site) and browse the your pictures. Then you select the one you want and click upload. After that 4 codes should pop up. Pick the one that's for forums and message boards. The last step is to copy the image code and past it where you want. Hope this helps.

Welcome! Wish I had some snow...I've never had snow at my house. Maybe we could set up a trade? Some sun for some snow?
