While l have been involved with birds of all sort's (feathered)most of my life, since l was 6 years of age.. thought l would show some moments with them the last 2 years.. Here are some pics for starters.. These pics were taken at a park Healsville and the Crimson rosella's and Cockatoo's weren't shy at all.I even had to grab my camera bag once for a Cockatoo decided to take it for a walk.. Here they are feeding happily And here is the Crimson Rosella that was so friendly.. it even landed on my shoulder for a rest and gave me time to take the pic myself .. Here are the Lorikeets: Lorrie and Coco Here they are mingling with a flock.. And a short video of their friends visiting last summer.. img531.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mov01804wg7.flvThis video is of Coco who got excited when a wild Lorikeet ventured into her cage(while Lorrie was outside ) and tried to have a feed .but Coco got to excited as you can see ..?? img531.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mov01865fw3.flv

Wow! Thanks for the pictures! It must be awesome to have wild parrots around. I would like parrots for a change instead of crows. At least parrots are herbivores and don't leave parts of their lunches around. Occasionally at a park now in the US you will see a flock of small parrots, but I don't know what kind of parrots they are. I have fallen in love....the crimson rosellas are stunning!

Glad they were tame, for l remember when l put my hand out these Cockatoo's are wild and so l was ready to back away quickly if they bite, but luckily all they wanted was food so it was even a better feeling..

I wish my Crimson Rosella's were as tame as your wild ones!

It's so wonderful being able to interact that closely with them. They're all so gorgeous.
