Lots of toys which are favourites can be simple things found around the home. empty cotton reel shredded paper (mine love this) string of paper clips feathers! wooden pegs string

For larger birds - the cardboard rolls you find inside foil, paper towels etc - they will learn to pop their heads in and change the way they sound. Cooldrink bottles - love to roll these around Baby dummies - some will suck on these And a lot of baby toys are suitable

my cocatiel loves tissues ! and the budgies like anything shiny with a bell too....

hair bands... my birds always play with then throwing them around. ribbons anything long light and dangly they love.

and pens on the desk, coco loves to chew on them, then check them off the side!

earings ! dusty has broken many many of mine when they are on me and when they are on the desk doesnt matter he loves them all....
pens are a good one yes ! and paper doccuments and stuff...they always chew the ones you actually need and not all the other 100 pieces of paper lying on the desk that arnt important !
strings and threads hangin off clothes
bottle caps
rubbers of the back or pencils and pacers ! they like pulling them out and chewing them up.

well i finally lost the little blue finger mouse tip on my laptop thanks to Graham.He kept pulling it off and chucking over the side. Harvi has not discovered toys yet, but Graham oves his new bell on his rings, earings, dogs hair(ears and paws) ..they are just little nibblers

OH MY! I have soooo been depriving mine lol, they have the budgie toys but no 'normal' toys, i'm like a mummy with a toddler its a case of 'ooohhhh take that of him/her she may choke' etc lol

My cockatiel likes playing with cotton bud sticks, they're easy enough to pick up and drop on the floor, and he seems to like chewing on the cotton bit too...
