On Wed. Mr B called me when he went home for lunch. He said there was a budgie on the patio eating the seed that had been thrown from the aviary. He tried to catch it, but it flew up into a tree and was gone. Yesterday, mr b went home for lunch and he was back, but pretty tired, and was easy to catch. He dove right into the seed dish in the cage!!! poor thing! So when I got home from work yesterday, I immediatly ran to check out the newbie! Found out he is a she, and in breeding condition. She really isn't yellow, but more cream. the pics seem to show up blue, but its more of a grey. She resembles my nibbles quite a bit. I'm guessing its a recessive pied mutation. I have named her Lucky. She is very dirty!!! I posted her on parrot 911, so we'll see if anyone claims her. If not, she'll be joining the flock in a month

Poor thing! I'm really glad to hear that she is doing well, so many birds get lost and aren't so fortunate. I've tried to help out lost birds that were checking out my aviary, but I've never actually been successful. Good for you! For some reason the picture isn't showing up for me...
