Rosellas are very aggressive birds and should always be kept as single pairs, I keep Yellow, Green, Eastern, Western and Pale Head Rosellas and all are aggressive when it comes to defending their aviaries. I rate them as being as aggressive as the Red Rump Parrots (I have seen a pair of these birds kill a Sulpher Crested Cockatoo!)

The bird is indeed a collared sparrow hawk more commonly known as a chicken hawk they are found virtually Australia wide. if you have baby chickens keep an eye on them if that guy is about.

Has any one ever seen a Pale Head Rosella like this before?? I dont know what to make of this one other than the fact its not a normal bird as I have a number of pairs of Pale Heads. This is the bird in question on its own. and this is a comparison of it with a normal bird.
