I am over the moon. Charlotte my Green IRN has laid her very first eggs. At the present time there are two. Charlotte is the daughter of Henry & Tweety the two that were stolen, so I have my fingers crossed that at least one of the eggs is fertile and is a blue one, as it will be handraised and called Henry2 no matter what sex. Missy the blue has been going into her nest box but has no eggs yet. Will keep you posted, I'm not looking in the nest box any more so as not to disturb them. It is going to be a long month with no peeking.

thanks everyone for your kind thoughts, it's the little things that people say and do that really help.

haven't been here for a while as life has had many ups and downs in the last 6 - 8 mths I lost my beautiful MIL last October, my girlfriend lost her beautiful baby boy John at 33 weeks gestation in April, then my sister passed away on the 30th June, and as I was starting to get things back on track some LOWLIFES had the audacity to come onto my property and help themselves to my beautiful breeding pairs of IRN's.
The took 2 breeding pairs that were starting to go down, and a Albino female that was paired with an Albino male and were pair to breed next year.
The first pair was a Lutino hen and a sky blue cock, that were my favourite as Henry only had one eye but was still able to breed. That is his pic in my avatar.
The other pair was a pastel blue hen and a grey cock, that I have a Grey offspring from, not sexed yet, he/she is just 12 mths old, so now I'm back to looking for more birds.
It's a real shame I now have to have security installed around the aviaries and I am now very particular with whom I show my birds to which is a pity as i am so proud of them and like to show them to others.
So just be careful everyone, because whoever took my birds knew I had them and when I wouldn't be home

Eve his neck ring should be visible now if it is male, and he will be starting to come into his maturity. He is not too old to be taught to talk, but they can be stubbon just like kids.
