Ok, so, what if my birds wont even go near anthing other than seeds and hard dry bread. They came to me this way. I try, and it drives me nuts! Should I try nuts? LOL!

On the madrone tree, what about the bark? Is it ok, for my budgies to chew on it, or should I strip the bark off? AND,,,,should the wood be green or dry? Or does it matter?? Thanks, for your help!!

These are really neat birds, I wonder if they are a little like our "Camp Robbers" we have here in the states. The are actually called Stellar Jays. Big dark blue birds with a nice big crest that easily indentifies thems. That and their squawking!! I'll send in a pic, Juli

On the topic of the litter box, I call the turds covered with litter, "Doggie Roca" Quite a delicacy for those canines! Definetly EWW YUCK!

Hello, I really need to have some birdie buddies to chat with,,and learn more about taking the best care of my birds as I can. I live with 2 budgies, a purple female, I believe, and a blue male, I believe. I wasn't too sure, when I adopted the blue one,,his name is Kiwi, wether he was a boy or girl, until I adopted Willy, the purple one. Putting them together, after a little getting used to each other, it seamed that you can tell the colors of their ceres better. Know what I mean? Anyway, that's just the beginning of all I would love to chat about. Looking forward to meeting you all. Juli
