On July 1st we had fireworks because it was Canada Day. I was in the computer room and Ember came flying into the room at warp speed whimpering like a child and he clung to the back of my head. His eyes were huge. I thought what is wrong with you? I walked into the living room and heard the boom of the fireworks. I know most animals hate them, but I have never seen Ember like this. Almost like he was screaming "Mommy help me!" lol

I believe a plane was coming in to pick them up or drop off supplies and he spotted the bodies along with the bears nearby. Police or park rangers came in. I think they had to shoot the bears. He always had his video camera rolling, taping the bears but I think the picture/video gave out, the voice recorder was still on. They never released it to the public, but I believe the attack was voice recorded, screams etc.

I watched the documentary on tv. That guy was nuts. He would get right up close to them. Even if the bears were use to his presence, they are still a wild, unpredictable animal. Authorities found their bodies near their campsite with one or two bears lurking close by.

Thank goodness this guy or gal is not in my back yard. I took this pic at the zoo the other day. I live in Canada, but these bears are only found in Alberta, BC.

The Zoo has a few new aquariums. I took some pics of the clown fish...
