Hi # If your account has no qualifying activity in any 30-day period, all points in the account will expire.. Qualifying activity is defined as redeeming any Bird eClub award or accruing points on any eligible Bird eClub activity. # Points will be credited only to the account of the Bird eClub member. Points will be credited within 24 hours of accruals of the points. # Except as otherwise explained below, Bird eClub points are not transferable and may not be combined among Bird eClub members, their estates, successors and assigns. Accrued points and awards do not constitute property of the member. Thanks Dog Beds

Hi The downfall of the previous incarnation of this site was that it was highly susceptible to blitz attacks by spam bots that clogged up the links and comment pages. The new version of the site has enough protections in place to prevent these bots from spamming us. However, there is nothing to prevent a human from legitimately registering a new account and then manually submitting spam links. In fact, that has been happening since day 1 of the re-launch. One of these spammers was even kind enough to spam the site with a link to their spamming service! Needless to say, the persistence of these human spammers mean that some kind of moderation is required. I can either clean up after these folks after the fact – that is, after the links have already appeared on our pages – or cut them off before their spammy links can appear. Thus, in order to discourage these spammers and keep their links from appearing on the site I have implemented a new policy that only applies to newly registered users. After you sign up for the first time you must have at least one approved link before you can start freely submitting without any pre-screening. If you have already registered then nothing will change for you. Thanks Dog Beds

Hi The African Grey Parrot (Psittacus erithacus) is a medium-sized parrot endemic to primary and secondary rainforest of West and Central Africa. Experts regard it as one of the most intelligent birds. They feed primarily on palm nuts, seeds, fruits, leafy matter, but have been observed eating snails. Their overall gentle nature and their inclination and ability to mimic speech have made them popular pets. This has led many to be captured from the wild and sold into the pet trade. The African Grey Parrot is listed on CITES appendix II, which restricts trade of wild caught species, because wild populations can not sustain trapping for the pet trade. Thanks Dog Beds
