hey everyone i've just found out Fluff has one of them "flick markings" behind his crest and that means one of his parents is carrying the gene or split to pied!! also Fluff has grown some yellow tail feathers......just like mum!! i dont think Fluff is a normal grey anymore!!!

Anna on "that forum" said in the photo i posted of Jake it looks like jake could have a bit of cinnammon through his wings and Jessie may have a gene for pied too as she has quite a bit of yellow.
i have posted more pics so if she can detect anymore clues i'll post back here with any info.

;D i asked if she could work out whether Fluff is a hen or cock but she couldnt yet, but she did say if fluff is high pitched and almost squeaks then its most likely a hen but i cant really tell as i have only one baby and nothing to compare with of the same age!!

darn it!!! i was getting all exciting then thinking Fluff could be a mix of different colour types............turns out the yellow tail is normal for a young tiel oh well!! atleast i know he/she is normal!!! when fluff moults if he/she is a boy then he'll grow a solid grey tail. almost all grey pearl hens have yellow tail she (Anna) knows loads!!! blimey its gonna take me years and years to learn enough to be able to do all the gene stuff and know all the colours! i knew there was lots to know anyway but its sooooo complicated
